Karana in Sanskrit is the principle, the primary cause that precedes the result which, in due time, will become visible. This project starts from the development of short choreographic sequences, small dance principles, through moments of improvisation and composition. Intention, identity, principle, journey and transmission are the key words of this path: emerging from silence with the urgency of being there and becoming rarefied in the silence. Dance becomes a journey, an alchemical process, a space of knowledge, questions and new possibilities, certainly a space of transformation and of no return.
Is the dance an expression of desperate happiness?
